Fourteen Families are involved in the Manzanita Community Gardens. Most of the families to a post on Island Moms, and a few neighbors are involved too. We all have children, and most claim to be neophite farmers…but evidence suggests that there might be an experienced farmer or two in the crowd. Our most prolific farmers to date are the children…who have been propagating rocks at a staggering rate!
Families involved are Dominque, Marc, Evelyn & Rex Cantwell, Sara, Michael, Morgan and Willa Sydor, Laurel, Ryan and Wesley Powell, Jessica Star, Tom, Shelagh, Russell and Johan Coe, Karen, David, Duncan and Sophie Rutherford, Nina Spruill, Erin, Brian, Kate and Brock Jennings, Anne Briggs, Don, Nancy & Ian Lorimer, Christian, Kirsten, Sebastian & Eleanor Ford, Tom, Shelaugh, Russel and Johan Coe, Katie, Shane, Nathan, Myron, Brennan, Rylan and Mae Butler, and Elizabeth and Webster Gadbois.
Please contact us via the comment box below if you are interested in participating! We still have a few plots available.

Hi! This sounds like a wonderful project/opportunity. I’ve got two little ones who are very interested in the mysteries of how things grow out of the ground — as are the taller members of our clan. Are there still spaces left?
thanks,
Christian, Kirsten, Eleanor & Sebastian

Hi Christian & Family,
We have one or two spaces left…are you available to meet me tomorrow evening around 6:30?
April 27, 2009 at 7:07 pm
Yes, we can definitely come tomorrow! Might 6:15 be possible? We’d need to leave by 7 to put the little ones to bed. Does that leave enough time? Where should we meet you?

We’ll be there, but I’m not quite sure where “there” is… Does the farm have a street address on Manzanita?
thanks,
Christian

Hi all!
Not sure if you all will get this in your email box, but…we have another photo session tomorrow at 1:30. Would love it if you can make it!
See you soon,
